Policy indicators, India and South Asia, 2000–2024
Each panel row is one country-year for India or seven South Asian neighbours, 2000–2024, from the World Bank. The panels contain 200 rows covering 18 health, education, jobs, infrastructure and economic indicators.
Coverage
- Window: reference years 2000–2024 inclusive; annual periods have no timezone. Acquisition timestamps use UTC.
- Grain: India and comparison panels contain one row per country-year. Supporting observations contain one row per country-year-indicator.
- Geography: India; Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the comparison panel.
- Cadence: annual reference periods with publisher revisions. Hosted tables inherit the platform refresh schedule; downloaded files preserve the verified snapshot.
- Verified panels contain 25 India rows and 175 comparison rows. Supporting tables contain 3,600 observations and 18 indicator definitions.

Missing values
India has 443 of 450 values; all eight countries have 3,493 of 3,600 values. No missing values are filled. India lacks education spending for 2001, 2002, 2007, 2008, 2023 and 2024, and government health spending for 2024. Gross enrollment ratios can exceed 100%. Publisher estimates, including modeled labour indicators, are retained. Reference years are not publication dates; historical figures may be revised.
