Live Poker Tournament Statistics 2025 Onwards

• Window: events whose PokerNews festival or event name carries 2025 or later, plus the later events that name no year.
• Grain: one row per player holding chips at the end of one event day.
• Derived by model: only game and the five format flags, and only where the event name states nothing. Nothing else on the row is model-written: the year, the buy-in, the stacks, the payouts and the labels are all read or computed.
• Cadence: a weekly whole-table rebuild, declared in the recipe because a page collection has no incremental refresh. A daily job re-lists the published payout and day pages from the PokerNews sitemap so the next rebuild reads the current list; the rebuild itself re-reads every page.
• Fetch gaps: 86 of the 2,583 listed pages fail to fetch on every run, the same pages each time, so about 3.3% of listed pages are absent from each build. Unexplained so far, and not broad link rot: a hand-checked sample of listed pages all answered.

• event_key, day_slug, entry_id: the event path, the event day and the player's entry, which the payout list also uses.
• tour, festival, event_slug, series_year, day_number: where and when.
• profile_id, player_name, country_code: the player.
• chips, stack_bb, big_blind, chip_share, stack_rank: the stack, in chips and in big blinds, and the blind it was played at.
• players_left, snapshot_chips_total, event_chips_max, chip_coverage, field_complete: field size and whether the snapshot lists the whole field.
• field_share_1 to field_share_10: chip shares of the ten largest stacks.
• currency, places_paid, prize_pool, first_prize, prize_remaining, next_payout, in_the_money, payout_share_1 to payout_share_10: the payout context.
• game and five format flags: read from the event name where it states one. Where it does not, a decision model (TypeSafe's Jev, through OpenRouter) reads the event's own printed page title and scores each candidate; the best one is taken only above 0.5, and below that the column stays unknown rather than guess. game_source says which of the three happened, game_confidence carries the score on model-decided rows, and served_model names the dated model snapshot that answered.
• buyin_text: the buy-in as the event's page title prints it, currency symbol included.
• final_place, final_prize, label_status, final_prize_filled, final_prize_share: the result and the training label.
• self_reported, fetched_at: whether the player typed the count into the MyStack app, and when the page was read.

Results join on the entry identifier, so no names are matched. label_status is pending while an event has no named winner. The PokerNews sitemap lists a day about a day after it is played and leaves out some middle and final days, so those snapshots are missing. Rows PokerNews reports at 0 big blinds are treated as stale entries and dropped. stack_bb is empty on pages that give no big blinds.

• Training models that predict a player's share of the remaining prize money from stacks, blinds and payouts.
• Testing ICM on events that finished after 2024.
• Studying stack depth in big blinds across tours.
